INTERN'S PROFILE:

Shivangi Dikshit is pursuing Masters in Diplomacy, Law and Business from O.P Jindal Global University, Sonipat. She has done her bachelor's in Psychology and Economics from Isabella Thoburn College, Lucknow in 2018. Her area of interests is International Political Economy, Geopolitics of South East Asia, Culture and History of South East Asia and India's Look East Policy.

J. Mohanasakthivel is pursuing Masters in Diplomacy, Law and Business in Jindal School of International Affairs. He completed his Bachelors in Law from KLE Law College in Bangalore in 2015. His areas of interest include Government and Politics in China, Chinese Foreign Policy, Southeast Asia, Regional Integration (Special emphasis on ASEAN and EU), Indian Foreign policy and Tamil Diaspora in South East Asia.

Abhishek Mohanty is pursuing Masters in Politics: International and Area Studies from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. He completed his graduation in International Relations from Central University of Jharkhand, Ranchi in 2017. His areas of research interests includes critical analysis of foreign policies and global issues of Indo-Pacific and Post-Soviet countries, international and regional institutions, world political history, religion in global politics and international election observation. He is also a student member of Kalinga Lanka Foundation.

Alakh Ranjan is currently pursuing Masters in Politics and International Relations from Jamia Millia Islamia. He has completed his graduation in Journalism and Mass Communication from GGSIP University, New Delhi in 2017. He has a keen interest on media and has presented papers on various topics related to media. His areas of research interest are postcolonial studies and Indian foreign policy.

Amlan Dutta is a Researcher at the Centre for Vietnam Studies, New Delhi and is currently pursuing PhD from the Department of East Asian Studies, University of Delhi. He specialises on Japan and East Asia and is working on Nationalism and Foreign Policy of Japan. He was a visiting scholar at National Kaohsiung Normal University, Taiwan as part of Taiwan Education Exchange Program (2017-18). He had interned with the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India in 2014. He holds NET-JRF in Defense and Strategic Studies. He has also worked with the Public Policy Research Center (PPRC) as a Policy Analyst. He received Mitsubishi Corporation Scholarship from Japan while he was pursuing his Masters at the Department of East Asian Studies, University of Delhi. The core area of his research interests include issues related to Indian foreign policy, international relations as well as defense and strategic studies.

Keshav Jha is currently pursuing Masters in Conflict Analysis and Peace Building from Nelson Mandela Centre for Peace and Conflict Resolution, Jamia Millia Islmia, New Delhi. He has graduated in Mass Communication from Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication, Bhopal in 2017. Keshav has been writing for several national Hindi dailies and websites like Dainik Jagran, Rashtriya Sahara, DNA Lucknow and ichowk.com on foreign policy, bilateral relations and national politics. His areas of interest lie in Indo-Pak bilateral relations, Southeast Asia, ASEAN and maritime security, naval cooperation, defence ties and soft power diplomacy. He is also a member of Public Relations Society of India, Bhopal Chapter.

Laishram Ashok Singh completed M.Phil from the Department of Political Science, University of Delhi on "Political Ideas of Vinayak Damodar Savarkar". He post-graduated in Political Science from the Centre for Political Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University. He also cleared UGC-NET in Political Science in the year 2015. His areas of research interest include Indian Political Thought, Political Theory, Contemporary Indian Politics, and International Relations.

Namita Barthwal completed her Masters in International and Area Studies from MMAJ Academy of International Studies, Jamia Millia Islamia. She graduated in Political Science from Delhi University, in 2016. Her areas of interest are Strategic Relation and Military ties between India and Vietnam, Nuclear proliferation debate, India's foreign policy, Small-States diplomacy and Security Studies.

Niharika Saikia completed her Masters from Jawaharlal Nehru University in International Relations with specialisation in Politics. She is a graduate from Cotton College, Guwahati in 2015 and worked as a lecturer in RD Junior College, Assam. Her areas of interest are India's foreign policy, issues of identity, sub-regional nationalism in the Northeast India, international relations and area studies.

Samira Shahid has completed her Master in 2018 in French language from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. She has done her graduation in Commerce from University of Delhi in 2014. She also holds a advanced diploma in French from Delhi University in 2016. Samira writes for Dainik Bhaskar and website like Daily O. The areas of her research interests include French literature and the French colonial impact in Indo-China.

Syed Kamran Ali is currently pursuing his Masters in Peace and Conflict studies at Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. He is a Commerce graduate from Rohilkhand University, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. He has also been an intern at Cafe Dissensusblog and has contributed to various online news portals. His areas of interests include West Asia, religion, sectarian conflicts and also some other contemporary conflicts of the world, particularly the South China Sea conflict.

Nguyen Thi Thu Huong Nguyen Thi Thu Huong has been teaching Economics since 2004 at Hung Vuong University, Viettri city, Phu Tho province, Vietnam. Presently she is enrolled for a post graduate course in international trade at Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi. After completing her Bachelor's Degree in Business Management she pursued Masters in Agricultural Economics. Ms. Huong is a doctorate in Agricultural Economics and she was awarded her degree in 2015. Her areas of interest are teaching and researching in marketing, business management and agricultural economics. She has published a text-book titled 'Marketing Principles' and has several articles and research papers published in the national and specialized journals in Vietnam.

Pham Thu Huyen Pham Thu Huyen has graduated in Hydropower and Renewable Energy from the Water Resource University in Vietnam. She had been an office staff in Project Management Unit of Building New Campus of Water Resource University from 2012 to 2018. She got a Post Graduate Diploma scholarship from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade in 2018 and presently studying about International Trade at IIFT, New Delhi. Her areas of research interests include Medical Tourism and Market Identification.

Nguyen Thi Hien Nguyen Thi Hien is a researcher at Vietnam Institute of Indian and Southwest Asian Studies, Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences. She has completed Masters Degree from Jamia Millia Islamia and presently pursuing Post Graduate Diploma Programme on International Trade for CLMV countries at Indian Institute for Foreign Trade, New Delhi. Her areas of interest include issues of micro and macroeconomics; trade relations and international investment; Indian economy and regional economic cooperation of Southwest Asian countries.

Nguyen Thanh Long: Nguyen Thanh Long is presently pursuing Post Graduate Diploma Program in International Trade for CLMV countries at Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi. He has graduated in International Economic Relations from University of Economics and Law, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City. He was the Purchasing Manager at Vinamilk, biggest dairy company of Vietnam. His research areas include macro and micro economic issues and bilateral ties between India and Vietnam
